From one home to thousands. The journey of halal finance.
We’re modernising finance to help Muslims own their money with confidence, and without compromise.
The UK’s halal alternative to a mortgage
StrideUp is a shariah-compliant fintech helping Muslims buy, refinance, and invest in homes in a way that aligns with their faith.
Finance that feels like home.
We combine Islamic finance principles with modern technology to make home ownership fair and accessible.
All StrideUp products are certified by Amanah Advisors, ensuring full alignment with shariah principles. Our Home Purchase Plan is also regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), providing customers with the protections that come with regulated home finance.
We’ve been helping people buy homes since 2022, and growing with every family we support.

Our values shape the work we do
Trust
We honour faith and earn confidence. We build trust through honesty, transparency and alignment with Islamic principles.
Empower
We empower people to take ownership of their financial futures, without ever having to compromise on their values.
Passion
This work matters to us because it matters to our community. We care deeply about building something meaningful.
Build beyond
We plan ahead, with purpose. We aim to make decisions that stand the test of time. Everything is built with the future in mind.
The first keys
Our first customer picked up their keys in January 2022, proof that buying a home the halal way can be simple, modern and never a compromise.
Making it familiar
Islamic finance is often seen as complicated, but StrideUp works to make it feel familiar. Our Home Purchase Plan follows the same journey people recognise from a conventional mortgage in the UK, while behind the scenes every part of the structure is shariah-compliant.
It means customers can experience home buying in a way that feels recognisable, yet rooted in faith.
Opening doors for more people
StrideUp’s reach grew through broker partnerships across the UK, bringing alternative home finance solutions to more people than ever. Our inclusive approach and flexible criteria opened doors for customers often left behind by the traditional system, whether Muslim or not.
Breaking barriers in global finance
StrideUp became the first non-bank issuer in the UK to complete a public sukuk, a type of shariah-compliant bond, backed entirely by halal Home Purchase Plans. This landmark RMBS deal was the first of its kind in over seven years. It proved that Islamic home finance in the UK can perform and be recognised at the same level as conventional mortgage-backed deals.
Building beyond
Our journey began with one home, and it continues with a vision to set a new standard for finance in the UK. We’re leading a shift toward finance that fits our faith and works for everyone who wants a fairer way forward.
